The Nigeria Police Force has announced that a computer-based test for candidates who were shortlisted in the 2020 recruitment exercise will hold on Friday and Saturday. The Nigerian National Petroleum Corporation, NNPC, has taken over the reconstruction of 21 federal roads across the six-geopolitical zones of the country. The approval was given at the Federal Executive Council, FEC, meeting presided over by Vice President Yemi Osinbajo yesterday. Briefing State House correspondents, the Minister of Works and Housing, Mr. Babatunde Fashola, SAN, said the selected 21 roads totalled 1804.6 kilometers. [Vanguard]
The Nigerian National Petroleum Corporation (NNPC) has reiterated that its plan to produce at least 5 billion Standard Cubic Feet (SCF) of gas per day for domestic consumption in 2022 as well as generation of 5 gigawatts of power remain on course. The National Drug Law Enforcement Agency (NDLEA)said, it would establish six standard rehabilitation centres, one in each geo-political zone to treat the high number of persons suffering drug addiction in the country.
