156km-long Double-Track, Standard Gauge Railway Line from Lagos to Ibadan.

Construction commenced in 2017, after the flag-off by Vice President Yemi Osinbajo in March 2017. (Track-laying commenced in 2018).

24 million square meters of earthwork, 314km Main Rail (double track), 60km Station Rail, 1.2 million cubic meters of ballast.

10 Stations in all: Apapa Harbour, Ebute Metta, Agege, Agbado, Kajola, Papalanto, Abeokuta, Olodo, Omi Adio, Ibadan.

More than 8,000 workers mobilized to site so far.

Construction has commenced on the Ebute Metta Station, which will be the biggest station on the line. It is located within the Railway Compound in Yaba. Apapa Harbour Station will have a Hotel and a Shopping Mall on the premises.

Papalanto is home to the Project Headquarters: a large construction yard is sited there, where manufacturing and fabrication of the construction materials is done. It is also the Project Management Office.
